It's still in the month of January in the lunar year and i've gotten myself the 2nd ang pau for the year !!!

wah lau eh..... I'm BROKE....

1st ang pau:

Paid on 5th day of CNY at the Sg Pinang police station.  After discount, i still need to pay RM200. That's for last year's speeding ticket on May 2009. 

2nd ang pau:

As I was coming to work this morning, heading towards the U-turn to phase 4 industrial zone, I saw a very long line in queue. I decided to cut queue. As I was cutting queue, i said to myself, if there are police opposite, i'll just go all the way to the end traffic (turning to Pusat Perikanan) and turn back. 

So, I was looking all the way to my right for any SIGNS of the farking  'uniformed gangster'. I didn't see any, so i make the U-turn after cutting queue. Mother-farker, after i U-turned, i immediately regretted it. I SAW the 'uniformed gangster' there in front.

First sentence from him is, "Saya boleh tolong. You mahu saya tolong? "

Me     : Jika saman barapa?

Officer: RM300. Macam mana? You mahu saya tolong?

Me     : Encik, berapa you mahu?

Officer: Janganlah tanya saya. Miss cakap berapa pun boleh..

Me     : RM20 boleh ar?

Officer: TAK BOLEH lah. RM50.

Me     : RM50???? Encik, saya tak cukup makan lunch la... RM20 ok?

***Here comes the good part 

Officer: Miss jika tulis, kena saman RM300. Discount pun kena bayar RM200. You sendiri fikir. Mahu saman atau RM50.

WTF!!!!  

There's this Malay Stall that sells 'Mee Kungfu', actually is Kuey Teow Kungfu la. The stall is situated in the Malay market opposite Jalan Tengah flat area. 

What's so special with this shop? Well, since middle of last year, off and on, i've been trying to test this Kuey Teow Kungfu shop as it's highly recommended by my friends. But i don't get to eat it. And it's like I don't have 'yuan fan'(cantonese) with the shop liddat, everytime i go with my friends, the shop IS CLOSE. No matter i go Monday, Wed, Fri, Thurs or Tuesday... whichever day i tried to go, the shop WILL BE CLOSED. But whenever my friends go without me, the shop will be OPEN.I was like...wtf....

It goes to a point where everytime my friend ajak me to eat the kuey teow kungfu, we'll always, ALWAYS have PlanB under our belt. hahahah ... This has been going on for about 1 year plus. Friends kept making jokes about it: saying that if i go and the shop is open, they will buy 4D OR if i go and the shop is open, the shop will chap lap the next day...lolz

Then my friend asked for the shop owner's handphone number after getting fed-up. So, 2 weeks ago, we tried to go eat again after stop trying for 2-3 months. I rang the guy before i go, obviously. And the answer i get is....."The number you dialled is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later." WTF???!!!!! We went and try my luck anyway, and the shop is CLOSE.

Last week, we tried again.I told myself, if this time the shop is still closed, that's it. I'm gonna give up trying to eat totally and will just ask my friend to ta-pao for me. Ta-dah... The shop is finally OPEN. 

 heheheh... i finally got to taste the long awaited kuey teow kungfu. It taste good...and it also has a special kind of cooking style ;)

Today, i try my luck again and brought Dan & Lio to the stall. Ta-dah...it's open again :) Lionel finds the noodle not bad also :) The curse of the Kuey Teow Kungfu is finally lifted !! :D

Before reading this article, I was wondering how he did his steps in 'Smooth Criminal' MTV. The part where he and another 4-5 guys will lean 45 degrees downward in the dance MTV. Now i know how he did it.

Makes one wonder, what MJ can't create/do? MJ is incredibly genius in all area :D

SO, turn around and tried the batu maung behind which go through DELL and go out to Sunshine road. It is also jam-packed with cars. Stucked in the jam without moving an inch for god knows how long.  

So, i finally decided to go back to office and do some work/online/whatever. Really irritates me when i'm stuck in the jam for no reason and the car isn't moving at all!!

Luckily I'm back working at pg island already. Didn't know how i endure the daily PG bridge jam last time for 3 months. I can go crazy !!!! Maybe because previously i already know the bridge is going to jam so it's a planned thing -> no surprise there. This, is unexpected -> A surprise which i dislike. I really have no patience for traffic jam!!!! Hate it!!!

What's the reason for this jam again?

1) Penang Bridge got stuck with accident etc and so causes the coastal highway to jam as well?

2) Car accident in Phase4 area?

3) Damn Stooopid Legalized Gangster is doing road-block again??!!!

If it's reason #3, i'm going to kill and crush them to timbuktu the next time i saw them!! %&$%^$#&&^$%^*^*

heheheheh... last week someone cleaned his harddisk and dig a pic of all of us when we were as innocent as a white sheet of paper and forward to all of us.

We had a great time recognizing each other and talking about old times. Actually didn't know that quite a few of my primary friends were in the same kindy class with me previously :) Those good old days :D

Was having quite an eventful week last week. It's quarter end and lots of production issues and the users literally stand in your cube and wait for you to solve the issue. Kind of stressed out after a long week, but it was fun altogether. hahaha

So, was searching for a feel good movie to watch and I found this - Remember the Titans. It's a very old movie. Filmed in year 2000. I watched this previously with grandpa when it was first released :)

2 things i didn't know about this film:1)It was a Walt Disney Production and 2) It's based on a true story. The movie discussed about some thought provoking issues at that time.

Basically, it talks about the black-white issue in US, about what friendship really means, sports transcends skin-color and unite men as a whole etc. For me, it makes me realize that true friendship exists no matter you're black, white, blue or green :) And your best friend will stand by your side supporting you no matter what. (Well, if you did something wrong, he/she will also pinpoint it out to you)

All in all, it's a really feel good movie to watch. And the music is nice too. I'll give it a 8.5 out of 10 :D

It shares a story of 2 monks which i've heard previously, but just want to write it down here.

There's 2 monks. We name the elderly monk as monk A and the other younger monk as monk B. 

One day, both monks were walking to their temple and they came across a very muddy swampy path. Then came a pretty young lady dressed in a new and nice kimono. Seeing this, Monk A offered to carry the young lady over the muddy swamp area so as not to dirty her beautiful Kimono dress. Monk B saw this and kept quiet about the whole incident. After that, both monks continue their journey to the temple. 

After 2 days, both monks finally reached their destination -- temple. Monk B cannot contain his curiosity any longer and so, finally asked Monk A about the previous incident.

Monk B: Why did you carry the pretty young lady to cross the swampy area earlier on? I tot we as monks shouldn't be touching ladies.

Monk A: What??!! You've been carrying the young lady for the past 2 days? I've dropped the young lady down after only 5 minutes. I'm only helping the young lady so as not to dirty her kimono dress.

How true and wise is monk A. And I think most of us are like Monk B. We often carry problems or burdens from the past for god knows how long and were agonized by it. 

We should live for the present and future. That's the power of now. To live our life as if it's the last day of our living day on earth, to carry on and continue on our daily struggle without dwelling in the past.

Just let the past stays in the past and burry it there. Whatever is over is over. Just drop it and MOVE ON. No matter what sweet,bitter or sour memories, it's already past tense. Just leave all that there and let it stay where it belongs -- THE PAST. And start everything afresh and anew.

She wants to shop for a present for her friend's wedding. And we came to 'the room' shop. There was this counter which sells musical box and they have customized songs in it.

She found one song which is from Sammi and bought it. Cause her friend is a super fan of Sammi. The tune is quite nice although it's quite an old song.

I can't get the tune out of my head ever since i heard the musical box version of the song. Kept humming the tune and playing the song in my head. And so, i went to downloaded few versions of it. (might go back and 'catch' the piano score for this :D)The song is 唯独你是不可取替 by Sammi. The police start to have operasi-operasi everywhere. This started since yesterday. I think they will continue for the whole goddamn week!!

They stand at the u-turn place in FTZ4 where you want to u-turn to terrorist country. I think their purpose is to stop ppl from having a 2nd or 3rd lane for u-turn. But then... it's making the line damn long ..... Cars lining up and didn't move a bit up until way after DHL. And i have to drive further up and make the u-turn at the traffic-lights in front. Else, i'll be stuck in the queue for i think another 30 min.

WITHOUT them (the legalised Gangsters) standing there, i can reach office from the u-turn point in 5 min. WITH them standing there, i need an additional 10 min. %&$%^#$%&^ Not to mention the queue before that, another additional 10-20 min. What's the point?

Then this afternoon when i go out for lunch, there are like 2-3 bunch of them scatter around the whole coastal road. They are there mainly to stop the motorbikes. Setting up road blocks/booths 2 to 3 places along the road and 'eating' up 1 lane of the road. (boh akkai - no brain one).

This batch of them looks like mat rempit. They really do. i even saw one of them chasing after a motorbike in a mat rempit manner.

Just wish they STOP all these operasi-operasi soon. Else, we'll be stuck in TRAFFIC JAMS for NO REASON!! ops, my bad. We do have a reason being stuck in the jams. And the reason is -- THEM. 

Below is a short summary of where i've been eating these past 2 weeks. Imagine !!

That's a hell lot of places to cover in 2 weeks time. Damage done is, my face is now as round as the moon and I don't even dare to stand on the weighing machine now. Will need to do some damage control next week by cutting down on my food intake and exercise. :P

Oh ya... Flex actually customized a mug as my farewell gift. Love the mug as it represents every single one of them in the mug and it's custom made.  It's a really meaningful and thoughtful farewell gift. Thanks guyz ~!!

The police let several cars in front of me pass. But then the signalled me to the side and ask me to stop. I was a bit scared as i have tons and dozens of pirated CDs in the car in the drawer. Luckily i kept it in the drawer. But still scared that the police officers will search my car.

hmmm... why ask me to stop? And not those 5-6 cars in front of me or after me to stop? (Didn't see i have such luck when kena lottery that time.)

1) I didn't look like i am old enough to hold a driving license?

2) I look like some illegal immigrant?

3) Lionel looks like pimp? :p

Anyway, the police officers asked me to show them my driver's license PLUS IC. They wanted to see 2 identification. That's weird. Normally they would only ask for driver's license. Then they scribbled down my name, the place i stay in a sheet of paper and ask me where i work. I then ask them whether they are having some operasi? They nodded. Then when i ask "Ada orang curi barang ar?" The officer just smile and walk away.

Which makes me wonder... Did someone go and steal the chipsets or microprocessors again?? Anyway, i quickly kept all my pirated CDs at home after i went home. Just in case. :)

I'm soooo emotional and emobapuk now. Previously, when Flex gave me the Farewell lunch, i'm still ok. But starting this week, especially today... wah lau eh... i'm sooo overwhelmed by my own emotion.

I guess it's all the goodbyes i've been saying these few days and all the unexpected kind gestures my colelagues shown. The truth is, I suddenly feel like crying... That's the problem with me, i feel damn ngm se tak (cantonese) already. Unwilling to say those goodbyes to all colleagues and friends. I HATE saying goodbyes!!

I like my colleagues here and we talk and laugh and make jokes etc. Dunno will i still be having this kind of environment in the new place. But it's a risk i need to take. And dunno after 2 months, maybe the colleagues here in flex will still remembers me bo? Or just say, who is kokidi? kek sim la....

But one thing is for sure, I'm gonna miss them all. We've grown so close to each other in these past months, working closely in the department, hanging out & helping each other out. 

What can i say? That's the way life is. People move on and keep advancing. Well, just wish we'll all still keep in touch in the near future. :D

I think i've gained some weight now. The past week has been eating & eating & eating. Colleagues spread out to have several individual 'farewell' (or should i say get-together) lunch/dinner. Since last tues, wed & thurs it's all abt eating. But spent more time talking to them & more bonding. :)

We had an introduction session at the start of the teambuilding. Where each of the 4 groups will introduce what each group is doing and every team members which role under it. These are presented in the form of movie clip as this is a virtual teambuilding in the morning session. Flex did the video by using the idea from maxis's facebook advertisement. Each of us were introduced with a story which portrays what we like and our personality. And the video is hillarious. I was portrayed as an angel as well as a demon...hahaha...Kudos to the production team of Flex !!

There's also a surprise guest star which 'jumped' out from the introduction movie session of SPEED. hahahha

In order to make you all believe that this is really a real person,and he actually come to the teambuilding, i'll post the group picture our team took with him. (I took out the rest of the collegues cause i haven't gotten their permission to post their faces online)

Geng ler? The buttons in the suit are all actually battery operated i think. And the saber can be lighted up and has a saber sound also ;). Heard from colleagues that this darth vader is actually an avid star wars fan and he bought this suit for RM2k++. Imagine that !!

I joined few teambuildings with Flex. Among all, the one i enjoyed most and had the most fun is Q408 teambuilding in Sungai Sedim. We had white water rafting. That really rocks and will remain the best teambuilding for Flex.

Next, is this eCAP teambuilding. This will also be my last teambuilding here. We played some online games in the morning and had treassure hunt in the afternoon. Our team (Jack Sparrow) won the treassure hunt contest and i'm now an OFFICIALLY CERTICIED PIRATE!! hahahah 

The surgeon said they don't know for sure the root cause for appendicitis, but the most likely resons why people get it is - 1)Not enough fibre in the body. 2) An unhealthy lifestyle. The medical explanation is: An obstruction within the appendix, the development of an ulceration (an abnormal change in tissue accompanied by the death of cells) within the appendix, and the invasion of bacteria. Under these conditions, bacteria may multiply within the appendix. The appendix may become swollen and filled with pus (a fluid formed in infected tissue, consisting of while blood cells and cellular debris), and may eventually rupture

Thanks to all that have visited me in the hospital. Especially my colleagues who took all the troubles to find out the place and came visit me in their busy schedule. Thanks to their warm wishes, fruits, flowers and card. 

The surgeon gave me 1 week MC. I was discharged on the next day(Friday). It's a much needed rest i wanted. I've never totally rested at home for quite a long time. 

During that week, practically, i just rest, eat and make sure i had a good time. No night meetings, no VPN, no checking work emails etc. How good can it be? Except the occational pain felt in my stomach area. Life is such a bliss. Just watch cantonese drama, read novels, online and rest some more. It's such a nice and good feeling. :D

But after the end of the week, i started to get kind of bored d and am ready to do some work. Life is ironic, isn't it?

Oh ya... there's also a downside to it. I have to cancel my holiday trip to HK/Macau which i've planned on going with my uni mates since last year. :( sienzzzzzzzz 

It's been dragging since last year end of December until now. What's taking them soooooo farking long to decide or to process things on? sienzzzzzzzzz la... have to keep on waiting, waiting and waiting. It's really not a very nice feeling to be always on the waiting end. Trust me on this. I really hate it.

Can't they just settle everything in one shot and one go? Drag here and drag there. haiyo... like lau ah pek and lau ah ma working like that.

I know it's my fault to reject them the first time around. But since they are giving me a 2nd chance, i'm very grateful for it and am all into it. But then the dragging and waiting is eating me up. And i seriously am having doubts now. Hope that i can settle this by this week by hook or by crook. At least let me know the outcome is better than silence.

11pm - 1230am: Damn sleepy... but still force myself to stay awake.

1am  - 3am  : Attend waramashit Vampire meeting with US folk. Kononnya daylight saving... WTF.....

SIGH...There goes my vampire slayer activites. Though the time might have slight differences, but that's what I have to go through at least twice per fucking week. Not to mention I have to log-in through VPN EVERY OTHER NIGHT. Where's my life? I pretty damn much want it back !!!!

ps: It's now 3.35am. Just finished the meeting and discussion. Dammit. I'm fully awake now. Time to slaughter some vampires :p
